PC-Crash事故分析是根據事故現場的採集、記錄、調查與分析,將事故涉案車輛由碰撞後的終止位置反推回碰撞過程,再反推回碰撞前的運行狀態,來分析事故原因,然後根據有關法律規定進行責任認定。目前,我國在事故分析及責任認定上仍處於人工的分析判斷階段,這種方式顯然含有極大的人為因素,近年來發展起來的事故重建技術,為事故分析提供了科學的方法。

事故重建主要根據交通事故現場特徵,如碰撞後車輛位移、損壞程度、拖痕長度、路面情況等,運用力學動量守恆與能量守恆的基本理論,對事故發生過程進行推理與驗證。動量守恆理論以碰撞前的動量與碰撞後的動量總和相等為依據,根據車輛行駛方向與碰撞後的相關位置,來判斷事故前、後的車速變化及碰撞角度並完成參數檢測。能量守恆則以事故發生後車輛位移、損壞程度、碰撞角度等因素為依據,運用碰撞力學理論,來研究動能與位能的變化,從而推導出碰撞前、後車速和碰撞角度。重建工作就是將實際案例資料或實驗資料,通過統計回歸分析預測、事故現場模擬及碰撞軌跡分析等方法,來研究事故發生前、後車輛速度運行軌跡,最後將運算的結果或類比的運行以螢幕顯示或列印的形式輸出,具體說明事故發生過程。
 
 
Collisions up to 32 vehicles can be simulated in 2D and also in 3D. Car to car accidents, car to motorcycles , car to pedestrian accidents, occupant movement and also roll over can be calculated.
